The restaurant: Just a simple restaurant (with very nice pork dishes)

Bakmi Agoan is just a simple, small restaurant (about 10 tables) which serves some of my favorite dishes: pork noodles and nasi campur. The place is not too crowded, has pretty good hygiene, no flies and mosquitos and clean tables, and the staff is friendly and very fast.

There are only two small downsides:
  • Only cash, no debit card accepted
  • Parking space in front of Bakmi Agoan is limited

The Food: one of my favorite pork noodles in Jakarta

The pork dishes are very, very nice! They have 2 kinds of noodles: 'alot' and 'keriting'. Mie alot is 'though', or chewy, while mie keriting is curly. While mie alot is more unique and nice to try, I personally prefer their mie keriting.

One (quite big) portion of mie alot casui or mie keriting casui costs IDR 38,000. Nasi Campur (Babi) costs IDR 32,000.

I also love their fried pork balls (basi goreng babi) and fried dumplings (pangsit goreng), which you can buy for IDR 6,000 a piece.

Bakmi Agoan is a must-try, and must-try-again (and again!) for pork lovers in Jakarta :-)
