Immigration Office Jakarta Timur: Getting your Visa (Extension)

If you stay in Jakarta for more than 60 days (SosBud, KITAS, KITAP, etc.) and your sponsor lives in Jakarta Timur (East), then you need to visit the following (local) immigration office for your visa (extension) approval:

Kantor Imigrasi Klas I Jakarta Timur
Jl. Bekasi Timur Raya No. 169
JAkarta 13410
Phone number: 08503896 / 08509104
(don't be surprised if they don't pick up the phone...)
Fax: 08509105

You'll find a counter in the 'lobby' where you can get all the required forms (if there's nobody around, they probably decided to have a break and you just need to wait or ask someone). You'll also see the sign 'Statuskim' above the door next to the counter. That's where you need to go for your visa (extension).

I usually go to the Statuskim counter first to ask about the required forms and copies of documents, then to the counter to acquire those forms and to the copy counter (outdoor) to copy my documents and then back to the statuskim counter.

Their lunch break (istirahat, see photo)  is APPROXIMATELY from 12.00 - 13.00 on Monday - Thursday  (Senin - Kamis) and APPROXIMATELY from 11.30 - 13.00 on Friday (Jum'at). The immigration office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
